Died: July 16, 2008 in Century City, California. She was married to pianist and arranger Paul Weston. Stafford was greatly admired for the purity of her voice and was considered one of the most versatile vocalists of the era. Weston and Stafford developed a comedy routine where they assumed the guise of a bad lounge act named Jonathan and Darlene Edwards. |
