Jimmy Sedlar Vinyl Record Albums Jimmy Sedlar ( being a high school hockey and football star from Calumet High, located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula), Jimmy Sedlar also fronted his own 13 piece Big Band. For several years in the 1950's, he played with the Johnny Long Orchestra, and, following that, he left the life of the itinerant musician and settled in New York. He has played his horn on the Tonight Show, the Barbra Streisand Spectacular, and several Jackie Gleason Shows. Following this, he has been a trumpet soloist and has performed as a popular studio musician.
