Hilary Hahn Vinyl Record Albums Hilary Hahn was born in 1979 in Baltimore, MD. Since the age of four she is taught to play the violin. At the age of six she performed her first solo concert. In 1991 she debuted with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. They performed many concerts in cities like Dallas, Philadelphia, Paris and Munich. In 1999 Hahn was awarded the German "Echo Klassik Award" (as well as in the following two years). In the same year she debuted with the Berliner Philharmoniker. Furthermore she was awarded the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" in 2000 and in 2001 she won a Grammy for interpretations of Brahms and Strawinsky together with The Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields under the leadership of Sir Neville Marriner. |
