Emitt Rhodes Vinyl Record Albums American drummer and popsinger, born on February 25, 1950, in Hawthorne, California. In the 60s he played drums for teenage groups (The Palace Guard among others) before founding in 1967 The Merry-Go-Round, a band that included Gary Kato on bass, Joel Larson on drums and Bill Rinehart on guitar. The group disbanded in 1969. Between 1970 and 1973 he released three albums, writing, producing, and playing every instrument.
