Don Hosea Vinyl Record Albums Don Hosea was born in Cape Girardeau, MO. His parents Otis and Augusta Hosea knew that from a very young age Don liked music. When he was 3 years old; with no one teaching him how, he started to play the piano with one finger (You Are My Sunshine). At the age of 11 his dad bought Don a guitar. Don ended up singing at many clubs, and did shows all around the Memphis area. Soon Don was becoming well known as one of the best entertainers and singers in the Mid South. Don credits so much of that to having great pickers to back him. The first label to asked him to record was Crystal; two songs ‘Everlasting Love’ which was written by Stan Kesler and one that Don wrote himself, ‘I’ll Try Again’. Soon Don moved on to Rita Records, recording ‘Misery’ written by Martin Willis and John Henry. Later, Don moved over to the label that Elvis first recorded for; Sun Records, cutting ‘Since I Met You’ written by Stacy Davidson and ‘Uh Huh Unh’ written by Willie Cobb.
