Dennis Day Vinyl Record Albums Dennis Day (May 21, 1918 - June 22, 1988) Irish American singer.He was born as Eugene Dennis McNulty. He was married to Peggy from 1948 to his death from Lou Gehrig's disease, aged 70. They had nine children. His sister-in-law was the actress and singer Ann Blyth.He appeared for several years on Jack Benny's radio and television shows. Besides singing, Dennis Day was an excellent mimic, and did many imitations on the Benny program. He served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant during World War II. |
