Real Name: Seymour Kaufman Profile: American composer, songwriter, and jazz pianist. Born June 14, 1929, New York City, New York, USA. Ded November 18, 2004, (age of 75) New York City, New York, USA. He was inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1981. Songs he's known for include "Witchcraft", "The Best Is Yet to Come". and "Big Spender" to name just a few. Coleman charted once as a performer in the U.S. and seventeen times in the U.S. & U.K. as a songwriter. "Chloe", a funky disco instrumental cracked the U.S. charts at #29 on the adult contemporary chart. His top written songs included "If My Friends Could See Me Now" by Linda Clifford, which hit #1 in the U.S. Dance, #68 R&B, and #50 in the U.K. in 1978 and "The Autumn Waltz" by Tony Bennett, which hit #18 in 1956 (co-written by Bob Hilliard).
